How Do I Place an Order?
Online:
Online ordering is the most efficient method of shopping with Send A Toy. Our online shopping procedure is quick and simple, you do not need to register or create a membership. Online orders can be placed 24/7 using our secure shopping environment. Your credit card details are stored in a secure, encrypted database and are automatically deleted once your order has been processed.Send A Toy accepts VISA and MasterCard payments online.

Pay-Pal:
We are currently enhancing our checkout system to incorporate automatic Pay-Pal payments. In the interim, if you would like to pay for your order using Pay-Pal, simply email details of the products you would like to order to sales@sendatoy.com.au. Send a Toy will place the items on hold and email you a Pay-Pal Payment request The request will contain a link that will allow you to complete payment using Pay-Pal.

You can email your order to sales@sendatoy.com.au. Please include your name, contact number and required payment method. Payment for email orders can be made via direct deposit or Pay-Pal. Please indicate your required payment method. (Note: orders are not dispatched until payment clearance).
International Orders:
If you are located overseas and wish to purchase gifts for delivery to children within Australia, Send a Toy's online checkout system accepts both international Visa and MasterCard's. Alternatively you can pay for your order via Pay Pal, please refer (above) for further details on Pay-Pal payments.
Direct Deposit Orders:
We understand that not everyone has a credit card or feels comfortable shopping online. If you prefer, you may pay for your order directly into Send a Toy's bank account via direct deposit (also called Electronic Funds Transfer EFT).

Orders paid by Direct Debit will not be dispatched until full payment has been received.

Goods will be held for a maximum of 14 days.
Refunds and Exchanges
Send a Toy will exchange or provide a refund (less postage costs) for change of mind returns. Items must be returned in their ORIGINAL condition, UNUSED, UNOPENED and with no damage to the product or packaging. Product tags MUST still be attached, if tags have been removed or detached, the return will not be accepted.
Refund conditions:
1. All returns must be instigated within 14 days of order receipt.
2. A returns authorisation number must accompany the return. Please contact Send A Toy for your RAN prior to returning the item(s)
3. Return postage cost will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
4. Returned goods must be unused, unopened and in their original, re-saleable condition.
Please allow up to 7 business days (following receipt) for your refund to be processed.
The above Refunds and Exchanges policy EXCLUDES items that were purchased while on sale. Send A Toy does not provide a refund, credit or exchange for change of mind purchases on sale items.
Exchanges on GIFTS
We will exchange or provide a store credit for orders that have been received as a gift and deemed unsuitable for the recipient. (Refunds can not be provided, unless the refund is being issued to the original purchasing credit card). Exchanged items must be in their original re-saleable condition, unused and with no damage to the product or packaging. Product tags MUST still be attached, if tags have been removed or detached, the exchange will not be accepted.
- All exchanges must be instigated with 14 days of gift receipt
- All postage costs in relation to the exchange will be the responsibility of the person(s) instigating the exchange and not Send a Toy
- Exchanged goods must be unused and in their original, re-saleable condition.
- Please allow 7 business days (following receipt) for your exchange to be processed
The above gift exchange policy EXCLUDES sale items. Send a Toy does not provide a refund, credit or exchange for gifts that were purchased while on sale.
Order Cancellation
You may cancel any item from your toy order or your entire order, provided it has not already been dispatched. Please note that Send A Toy endeavours to process and dispatch all orders within 12 - 48 hours of order placement.
If your order has already been dispatched,you can return the goods to us once you have received them. Return postage costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser. Original postage costs on your order will not be refunded. (Refunds can only be issued to the original purchasing credit card).
Product Warranties
When toys and gifts leave Send a Toy they are carefully checked to ensure that they are not damaged. Our insured delivery option for an additional $1.95 includes insurance for loss or damage of the items during transit. This insurance policy does not cover the items for any loss or damage that occurs after you are in possession of the items.
Each item purchased should only be used for the purpose described and always used under proper adult supervision. Children using the items should be of the appropriate age range. Manufacturers warranties will not be valid where:
- The item has been subject to misuse or has not been used in accordance with the product guidelines.
- The manufacturers warranty period has expired.
- Proof of purchase can not be provided.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Product Availability
All products listed on the Send A Toy website are held in stock (unless otherwise indicated). On rare occasions an error in our inventory may result in an out of stock item being listed as in-stock. If this occurs, Send A Toy will email you with 48 hours to advise of the discrepancy.
The following options will be provided:
1) Substitute the out-of stock product with a different, in stock product.
2) Place the out of stock product on back-order.
3) Cancel the out of stock item from your order. A refund will be immediately issued to the original purchasing credit card.
Price Information
All prices indicated on the Send A Toy website are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Relevant freight charges are clearly indicated during the checkout process and are GST inclusive. You have the option of canceling the order process once delivery charges have been displayed.
Send A Toy does not apply hidden fees, surcharges or additional GST.
Order Acknowledgements
Send A Toy reserves the right to accept or reject at our absolute discretion any orders we may receive for any reason, including, without limitation, you failing to pay for the products that you have ordered, the unavailability of products or an error in the price or the description of products.
Currency conversion
For the convenience of international buyers, Send a Toy provides a conversion of product pricing (see product description pages) from Australian Dollars to British Pounds and US Dollars. Please note, these are an APPROXIMATE conversion only. The exchange rate is provided by xe.com and is updated every two hours. The actual rate at which you will be charged is dependent on your financial institution. For conversion of other currencies, we recommend using xe.com, or refer to the rates offered by your bank.
Lay-by Policy
Send A Toy does not currenty offer a layby or product hold scheme.

How Much Will Delivery Cost?
The following charges are Send a Toy's MAXIMUM delivery & handling charge per order, regardless of the weight, size or number of products in your order.
The delivery charge for low weight, single item orders will be LESS than our maximum delivery charge. (Select the 'View Delivery Charge' link on each product listing to determine the delivery charge for individual products).
All delivery prices quoted below are for standard post via Australia Post E-Parcel and INCLUDE signature delivery. Optional parcel insurance can also be purchased, refer below for further details.

Optional Parcel InsuranceSend a Toy offers optional parcel insurance for an additional $1.95 per order. This insurance cover guarantees that if your order is lost or damaged during transit, Send a Toy will replace the item free of charge. In the event that we are unable to replace the item due to stock unavailability, a refund will be provided for both the item and original freight charge. No further compensation applies. Send a Toy will not provide compensation for delays and/or inconvenience resulting from the damaged or lost parcel.
Express Post Service
Send a Toy offers an express post gift service on non-bulky orders with a total packed weight not exceeding 3KG. The charge for this service is a flat rate of $12.90 per order, Australia wide. Express post orders placed BEFORE 12:00pm will be dispatched same day with a following business day* delivery.
* PLEASE NOTE: Our express post service is not available on weekends or public holidays. Delivery postcodes MUST be within the Australia Post express post network. Postcodes outside of the express post network will not arrive next day from dispatch.

Important Express Post Information
Send a Toy will NOT be held responsible or liable for express post delivery delays that occur as a result of our Express Post carrier.
A signature is required on delivery of express post parcels - in the event that the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the consignment will be taken back to their local Post Office for safe keeping and collection.
Quoted express post delivery standards assume that the delivery postcode is within the Australia Post Express Post Network. Postcodes outside of the express post network may not arrive next day from dispatch.
On occasions Send a Toy will not be offering an express post service. In this instance, notification that express post is not available will be posted in this section.

Due to size and or weight, the following toys are excluded from our freight cap and attract a separate freight charge. By selecting the 'View Delivery Price' link on each product's description page, you can determine the delivery charge for these items:

Send A Toy Delivery Standards
All Toys and Gifts will be dispatched from Send a Toy within 12 - 48 hours of full payment receipt, excluding weekends and public holidays. Send a Toy uses Australia Post E-Parcel for all deliveries (with the exception of some small parcels under 500g). Each Eparcel consignment has a tracking number and requires a signature on delivery. If you are not home at the time of delivery, your parcel will be taken back to your local Post Office for safe keeping and collection. A calling card will be left to notify you of the parcels location.
How Long Will My Parcel Take To Arrive?
The following delivery standards are issued by Australia Post based on reasonable expectations and experience, they do not include weekends or public holidays. During peak postage times such as Christmas, delivery times may alter.

Adelaide Delivery Standards
Parcels being delivered within the Adelaide metropolitan area will arrive next day from the date of dispatch (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Disclaimer
We will always do our absolute best to ensure your parcel is delivered on time. However, occasionally some delays may occur as a result of our carriers for which we have absolutely no control over. In these circumstances, Send a Toy will not be held liable for any delays incurred.
Local Pickups
Send a Toy does not offer local pickup on our toy and gift products. We are an e-commerce retail business only and do not have a bricks and mortar outlet.
International Orders
Send a Toy delivers Australia wide only. Send a Toy does not deliver to international destinations. We do however, happily accept gift orders from international locations for delivery within Australia.
Complimentary Gift Wrapping
FREE gift wrapping is available on all children's gifts and toys, excluding kids tricycles, rocking horses, playhouses and some other extra large items. To have your item beautifully gift wrapped simply select the gift wrap option during checkout. During the checkout process you will also be given the opportunity to add a free personal message to your parcel. Send a Toy also provides the option of purchasing a greeting a card. Greeting cards are optional - you can still attach a personal message to your parcel when a greeting card is not purchased.
Send a Toy uses high quality gift wrapping materials. Send a Toy does not leave pricing information on gifts and receipts are not included where the delivery address differs to the billing address.
Send a Toy does NOT automatically email or post receipts to the billing address on gift orders however, a receipt or Tax Invoice may be requested at any time. (Please quote your order number when placing the request).
Subscribe to Toy Mail
Subscribe to Toy Mail, Send a Toy's mailing list via the toymail icon at the bottom of our online toy shop homepage or during our online checkout process. If you choose to join our toy shop mailing list, your email details will be retained for the sole purpose of keeping you up to date with our online toy store specials, competitions and new product listings. This information will not be passed onto a third party under any circumstances.
Technical Help
The Send a Toy Online Toy Shop web site is best experienced with new generation web browsers, such as Internet Explorer 6, Netscape 7 and Mozilla, though most older browsers should suffice.
Shopping cart problems? To use the shopping cart facility, cookies must be enabled in your browser. To change your settings to accept cookies, for Internet Explorer, go to the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options", then click the "Privacy" tab and make sure the sliding scale is set to "Medium", then click "Apply" then "OK". For Netscape, go to the "Edit" menu and select "Preferences", double-click on the "Privacy and Security" heading in the left column, then select "Cookies" underneath that. Security problems? The SSL certificate used by Send a Toy may not be recognised by some older web browsers. Your privacy is of utmost important to us. For that reason Send a Toy will not divulge, sell or rent your personally identifiable information to any organisation or individual.
If you choose to join our online children's toy shop mailing list, your contact details will be retained for the sole purpose of keeping you up to date with specials, competitions and new product listings. Your personal details will not under any circumstances not fore mentioned, be passed onto to a third party.
Send a Toy automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, cookie information, and your page requests. Send a Toy uses cookies only for the purpose of tallying orders. Cookies expire after 3 hours.
Site Security
Send a Toy ensures that all of our customers can shop via our Australian Online Children's Gift and Toy Shop with complete confidence. The Send a Toy website uses a secure transaction environment for e-commerce. Our system uses 128 bit Secure Sockets Layer technology (SSL), as certified by RapidSSL, to ensure your shopping experience is safe, sound and secure at all times. This is the standard and best possible technology in use at this time.
SSL locks all information passed from you to Send a Toy in an encrypted envelope. This makes it virtually impossible to be intercepted by an unauthorised party.
