      Delivery Standards

            The following delivery standards apply from the time your parcel leaves Send A Toy.
              We do not post orders on weekends or public holidays
                Occasionally delivery delays may occur as a result of our carrier, outside of our control. Send A Toy will not be held liable for, or provide compensation for any such delivery delays incurred.

                          Express orders placed by 9:30 am (ACST / ACDT) will ship the same business day.

                          Express orders placed after 9:30 am (ACST / ACDT) will ship next business day.

                            Express post exceptions to note

                                  Orders are not posted or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

                                  During extreme weather or fire events delivery delays may occur.

                                  During COVID-19  restrictions delivery delays may occur.

                                  Occasionally delivery delays occur as a result of our carrier, such delays are outside of our control. Send A Toy will not be held liable for nor provide compensation for any such delivery delays incurred.

                                      Same day delivery

                                            We do not offer a same day delivery service at this time. Most parcels sent express will arrive within 1 - 2 business days following dispatch.(2 - 5 days for destinations outside of the express network).

                                              Unattended property

                                                    One delivery attempt will be made for all shipping.

                                                    Your parcel will be taken to your local post office for safe keeping and collection within 14 days if your property in unattended (and you have not initiated and authority to leave instruction).

                                                    A calling card will be left at your premises.You will have 14 days to collect your parcel from your local PO.

                                                    Uncollected parcels will be returned to Send A Toy. A fee will apply to have your order re-shipped to the same or revised address.

                                                      Failure to collect parcel within 14 days

                                                            In most instances your parcel will be returned to Send A Toy.

                                                            Once returned you may request to have your parcel shipped again. A $12.95 re-delivery service charge will apply.

                                                            Alternatively, we can cancel and refund your order (less our out-of-pocket postage/return postage expenses).

                                                              Authority to leave instructions (ATL)

                                                                  All parcels require a signature on delivery, unless precluded by COVID restrictions.

                                                                  An ATL instruction can be applied by you (not Send A Toy), at your own risk.

                                                                  In the event your ATL parcel is lost /stolen/damaged following delivery, a refund or other form compensation will not be issued.

                                                                  Send A Toy staff can not apply an ATL instruction on your behalf.

                                                                  To apply an ATL instruction - follow the "leave in a safe place" link that is included in your parcel tracking email or pending delivery text (sent by Australia Post once your parcel leaves Send A Toy). 

                                                                        Phone notifications prior to delivery

                                                                          We are not able to instruct delivery drivers to phone ahead prior to delivery. However, in our online checkout you will be given the option of linking a mobile number to your order to receive parcel tracking updates, including impending delivery notification via SMS text.

                                                                            PO Box delivery addresses

                                                                              Send A Toy will delivery to any postal address in Australia, including PO boxes.

                                                                                Provision of wrong delivery address

                                                                                  If you submitted and incorrect delivery address with your order, please contact Send A Toy immediately.

                                                                                        If your parcel has already been manifested, we can not modify the delivery address.

                                                                                        If/when your incorrectly address parcel arrives back at Send A Toy, we can arrange to have it re-sent to a revised address.

                                                                                        A $12.95 re-delivery fee will apply to re-ship your parcel.

                                                                                        If your parcel is accepted at the incorrect address, it can not be retrieved by Send A Toy or Australia Post.

                                                                                        Send A Toy will not provide a refund/compensation for goods that are lost/stolen/damaged due to an incorrect address.

                                                                                        Adelaide local pick-up service

                                                                                          Unfortunately we do not offer a click and collect or local pick-up service at this time.

                                                                                            International shipping

                                                                                              Due to the risks and costs associated with international freight, we no longer ship outside of Australia. However, we gladly accept orders from international customers for delivery within Australia.

                                                                                                Sending multiple gifts to different addresses

                                                                                                  Please place separate orders online.

                                                                                                    Saturday / weekend deliveries

                                                                                                      Typically our parcel's are not delivered on Saturday's and a Saturday (or Sunday) delivery can not be requested. However, during peak periods such as Christmas Australia Post may deliver on Saturday's in selected metro areas.
